Elevating climate integrity through
Regional emission databases
Accurate greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting is essential for credible climate action. Yet much of the world still relies on default or outdated emission factors that overlook critical regional differences. In response to this gap, we have developed detailed, science-based GHG emission factor databases for Australia and now Indonesia; the latter being a globally significant emitter due to its energy mix, land-use profile, and growing economy.
These databases meet and exceed international reporting standards (IPCC Tier 2 and Tier 3 methods), aligning with the comprehensiveness of the UK’s DEFRA dataset. Our approach integrates national data sources, scientific studies, and regional sector expertise to provide tailored factors across energy, transport, waste, agriculture, and land-use.
By releasing these resources publicly, we aim to democratize high-quality emissions data, foster transparency, and support policymakers, corporations, and civil society in making evidence-based climate decisions.
All-in-One Solution
Everything you need for success...
Why it matters
- Most countries lack high-resolution, transparent GHG data
- Default global factors mask major regional variations (e.g., grid emissions, waste management, peatland combustion)
- Regional datasets support better MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification), net-zero tracking, and ESG reporting
What’s inside
- 800 + activity-specific emission factors in total
- Tiered by IPCC standards with documentation on uncertainty and sources
- Open-access, structured formats for integration into digital tools and policy modeling
Intended audience
- Climate scientists, policy analysts, GHG inventory teams
- Sustainability professionals, corporate reporters
- Environmental ministries and multilateral agencies (UNFCCC, UNEP, ASEAN)
Regional emissions data
Set up your calculator by selecting your location and business details. Our system tailors emissions factors based on country, region, and year to ensure accurate, localized reporting

Invitation
We invite reviewers, collaborators, and institutional partners to leverage, adapt, and co-develop future regional datasets. The methodology is ready to be scaled and localized across the Global South.
